History
Empact Inc. was founded to create lasting change through education, culture, and community empowerment. What began as a small initiative has grown into a powerful nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for all. Over the years, Empact Inc. has launched transformative programs that uplift youth, celebrate Black culture, and provide resources to underserved communities.
With a deep commitment to social impact, Empact Inc. has become a trusted organization known for fostering partnerships, advocating for equitable education, and supporting local businesses and artists. Through our diverse initiatives, we strive to empower individuals, strengthen families, and build thriving communities across Long Island and beyond.
Our Mission
The mission of Empact Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based on Long Island, New York, is to improve the quality of life for all, one community at a time. The organization welcomes people from all backgrounds and disciplines to share knowledge and experiences to uplift and empower communities.
Under Empact Inc., the initiative Black Long Island was created to connect the Black and Pan-African people across Long Island personally, politically, educationally, and economically. Through various programs, events, and advocacy efforts, Empact Inc. continues to drive meaningful change and foster community engagement.

Our Impact

🔹 Over 350+ students served through our Education Commission programs, including Rising Stars and Study Sundays.
🔹 Empowering local small businesses through curated events, providing exposure and resources to entrepreneurs.
🔹 Engaging thousands of residents through our Summer Concert Series, featuring legendary and emerging artists.
🔹 Strengthening community partnerships with organizations like NAACP Branches, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, Wyandanch Plaza Association, and LevelUp Consulting to create sustainable programs and initiatives.
🔹 Advocating for equity in education through research and accountability measures for underserved students in Long Island schools.

Empact Inc. is led by Founder and President, Falischa Moss, a dedicated community advocate with a passion for education, cultural enrichment, and economic empowerment. Alongside a team of committed board members, and volunteers of all backgrounds, Empact Inc. works tirelessly to create opportunities and resources for underserved populations.
Our leadership is rooted in collaboration, ensuring that the voices of youth, families, educators, business owners, and community members shape the direction of our programs and initiatives.
